Fabergé is changing hands. Gemfields has sold the legendary Fabergé brand to SMG Capital for $50 million. $45 million will be paid in cash at closing and $5 million in royalties tied to revenue. Closing is scheduled for August 28, 2025.
Fun fact: In March 2024, Fabergé released a special "007" capsule inspired by the James Bond film Octopussy.
