The basis for a good online shopping decision is the ring size.

The most important thing is to determine the exact size of the finger you'll be wearing the ring on. To do this, it's best to go to a jewelry store and have the circumference of your finger measured using a ring gauge.

You can also take a ring you wear every day to a jeweler to try on and see if it fits perfectly.

If you don't have this option, Michelson.pl is here to help – we'll send you a free measuring tape. Let us know by email at sklep@michelson.pl . We'll deliver the tape measure to the address you provided, allowing you to measure your finger.

PRO TIP: If your finger circumference falls between two sizes, let us know. We'll make you a half-size, e.g., a 14.5 (if a 14 is too small and a 15 is slightly too large).

Practical tips on how to best choose your ring size

  • Take your finger measurements in the morning and evening – the body swells slightly at the end of the day.
  • The weather affects swelling – the warmer it is, the more your fingers swell.
  • As your weight increases, your fingers may also become larger.
  • As we age, our fingers become thicker – an important factor when choosing wedding rings that will last for years.
  • Sweat increases resistance when putting on a ring or wedding band.
  • Cold water shrinks the body – remove any jewelry before bathing (especially in the Baltic Sea!).
  • The ring should not fall off when you lower your hand to the ground.
  • The joints have a larger diameter than the middle of the finger – take this into account when choosing.
  • If the ring is difficult to fit, consider a larger size. Our ring sizer will help.
  • For wide rings/bands, choose one size larger.
